Brownie was diagnosed November 2019 and vet told as that she has diabetes +ketoacidosis and we will be lucky If she leaves couple of months and offer to put her down!
That’s wasn’t an option for me so I started research and found the best food out there for diabetic dogs and started her on insulin,long story short she is still with me her sugar levels are okay and she is happy 10 year old furry baby girl!
I have fed her both chicken and salmon but she seems to like salmon better!!!
