My pup Penny has been dealing with seizures on and off for 3 years, sometimes every few months to every few days, our vet had her on Keppra and that made it worse, next were other drugs to "add in", which we were not pleased with After much research on seizures, I came away with the Keto diets and how it has helped humans curb the frequency at the minimum, after discussing with my vet she said she wasn't sure that would be wise, but knew I was going to make that choice anyways!
After more research in finding a Keto dog food and still be kind of affordable I chose Ketona Salmon kibble ( I also give her a low salt Sardine with her evening feeding), knock on wood she has not had a seizure in 4 months, I won't say she might not get another seizure but fingers crossed she won't, or at the very least be spread far far apart!
I just wished the kibble was slightly bigger and offered another protein base besides hicken, but I'm glad she likes her food as she was always a picky eater.

My sweet 7 year old Honey Bea had Stage II Mast Cell Tumor last year and thankfully, with two surgeries we were able to get all the cancer out. Unfortunately, I was not told to change anything about her diet and in January, she developed a new tumor and I started doing my research, started her on 100% freeze dried beef liver treats, added omega oil to her food and found KetoNatural. She started her diet on February 22 of this year. She has an appointment to have the new growth removed on March 12, hoping and praying it’s benign! My pup already eats Ketona kibble every day but recently was diagnosed with grade three patellar subluxation. I wanted something to help with her joints as she’s turning 7 this year and prone to joint issues due to her breed anyway so I thought I’d give these a shot. After a month of use we will now be lifelong customers - I’ve never seen my dog with so much energy! She’s running around and playing like she’s a puppy again. Makes me sad to think she must’ve been hurting for a while but so glad she gets some relief! And she has no problem eating them. :)

When we switched goods I was nervous but our f do if adjusted quite well! He really likes the food.

Armani loves these little tasty treats, he wishes he can have more per day but I only give him one. I'm going to buy the chicken liver treats for him next. He loves all Ketona.

I am so happy I found this food for Armani. He was first raised on kibble until I started taking classes for certification on holistic pet care and realized how bad store bought food was. Then I put him on raw food which he liked alot but he developed alot of lipomas. I know most dogs will develop them whether they eat kibble or raw but I am not fully sold on local raw food vendors, so after searching I found Ketona and Armani has lost his extra weight, looks great and now fits into his sweater and jacket that we bought him last year that was too tight to fasten. He's happier, we are happier. I would now like to try out the salmon to see if he likes it.
