My Fiancé and I popped into the store today regarding the possibility of re-sizing a ring that my fiancé bought for me online. We queried with a male member of staff at the store if we could possibly pay to get my ring sized as the ring he bought online was slightly tight. However, we were perfectly aware that this may be a long shot as there may be a policy in place where we would have to purchase a ring in store to get my ring sized there. The man very abruptly stated that this wouldn’t be possible and blatantly told my fiancé that he should never have bought a ring online. It wasn’t necessarily what this man said that upset my partner & I, as previously stated we were fully aware this may have been a far stretch (even though we were fully prepared to pay for the ring to be re-sized there and pay to get my ring sized there) It was the way that we were spoken to by this man. He talked down to us in front of everyone in the store and made us feel completely inferior. A polite ‘I’m sorry we are unable to do this’ would have gone a long way, rather than being spoken to in such an awful way. We then went to Clogau a few stores down and explained what had just happened and they were more than happy to help us with my ring sizing, free of charge, and actually apologised for the way we were spoken to by this man. We will 100% return to clogau in future for any jewellery needs, as the staff couldn’t do enough to help us, and they were so polite and friendly. This jewellers however I would never return to, and would never recommend to anyone as the service we received was so so awful. I’ve never left a bad review before as I’ve never felt the need to, but I’m utterly appalled and upset with the service we received today and the way we were spoken to.

It has got to be 5 star without any question. Have purchased several pieces of clogau jewellery. On one occasion a chain snapped, it was replaced without question and with a stronger chain at no extra cost. Excellent staff

The new member of staff knows me from her time at a previous store and knows I always need time when choosing my trollbeads. She was fantastic and the selection of trollbeads you had in store meant I didn't have to wait for what I wanted. Excellent service and will definitely be back.
