Yup, it’s the very best audio tag editor out there, it’s updated frequently and is just about the most intuitive way to manage thousands of tags. I can tag practically everything with Jaikoz. The file renaming syntax however is s a bit limited to my taste. For me, original albums, collaborations, tributes, greatest hits, various artist albums, multi-disc albums, theme albums, soundtracks etc. all have slightly different naming folder & file naming conventions. In Jaikoz I can create presets for artist albums and for compilations. But I want to name folders & tracks from e.g. a greatest hits album differently than a compilation of various artists or a soundtrack or a tribute album etc..

Hi, do you mean the syntax for file renaming, we do plan to overhaul the file renaming function to provide more presets.

The Software works in most of the cases properly. Modifications in the setup i.e. for the renaming of filenames need some trials. A very good Software.

I really like Jaikoz for what it does. I hate it for how it does it. The UI is clunky, normal Windows type behaviour and shortcut keys don't necessarily work the way you expect it to and it struggles with huge file loads.
But, it is from a functional point of view an awesome piece of software. Get the UI right so that normal users versus IT Geeks can use the software in comfort

I agree there is more to do on the UI and that is on our roadmap, that is also one reason why we created SongKong to provide a more streamlined UI that anyone could understand.

One of your competition Is called tuneup it was the best option until the automated it and now it doesn't work at all, they let you select an update, also remove Duplicates. Yours could find them but it doesn't look like you're doing things to remove them. A clear indication of how your software is going about its business would be nice

Hi Douglas, Jaikoz does remove Duplicates if you run Action:Delete Duplicates and then Save Changes and there are various preferences that configure how Jaikoz identifies duplicates.

Exact coverage depends somewhat on your music , Pop/Rock coverage is currently better than Classical/Jazz but both are pretty good. Have you tried rerunning usually SongKong can get some more matches on a second run because it can use some of the metadata added in first run to help identify. Having said that I dont think 80% is too bad really.
