Hi Allan, yes a Synology version is definitely on the cards, just need to work out the details of making a Synology installation package

meine Erfahrung mit SongKong ist etwas zwiespältig. Technisch finde ich das Einrichten auf die persönlichen Bedürfnisse sehr schwierig und verwirrend.
Auf der anderen Seite hat Paul stets versucht mir zu helfen.
Das Einrichten der persönlichen Bedürfnisse muss einfacher gehen . Ich bin zwar kein Computer Freak aber auch nicht überfahren mit Computern aber es hat mich sehr viel Geduld und Nerven gekostet.

Makes my library very organized very easily. Been using it for years and have yet to find anything even close. This program does small batch info and matching like nothing out there.
Just needs a checklist undo, and some tweaking as far as being able to choose if existing info or musicbrainz match is priority in checklist.
But if you have a large collection you basically have to have this program. Unless you're some Philistine who does it manually

not clear what the software is doing,
missing pictures from records,
the delete duplication files future does not keep the right files with proper names or belonging to a record (there must be at least the option to be able to choose the files that will be deleted)

Thankyou for your review, Songkong does do alot when you press the start button but the report shows all changes but Im going to make some further improvements. Regarding Delete Duplicates, on the Basic tab there are a number of different options to decide when duplicates have been found, you may be using the wrong one for your situation. On the advanced tab you can specify the criteria for which file to delete when duplicates are found (i.e by file creation date), we could possibly add another stage where you can manaully pick the duplicate to delete but wouldn't this be rather laborious if you had many duplicates ?

I use Jaikoz for matching my flac files with MusicBrainz and Discogs. Found out that the Jaikoz isn't really compatible yet with Discogs.
But apart from that it is a useful and stable application.

Thankyou for you review Ed, Jaikoz is in the most part very compatible with Discogs but can have sometimes have a problem when Disocgs uses subtracks such as on this release https://www.discogs.com/release/9926280

The software worked well with most of my music collection, although some albums reverted to singles for some reason, which was a little disappointing really. So I have deducted a star for this.
This has since been rectified by restarting my Melco and resetting the Naim App on my I pad.

I have found SongKong easy to use after a few dry runs and some helpful pointers from Paul Taylor. Overall a good match rate was achieved of around 95% for my iTunes library. My main objective was to use SongKong in a one-off exercise to populate my classical metadata in iTunes with work and movement data, and here SongKong helped by completing about 60% of the work / movement fields.
