Although I did end up booking with Hotel Power I was quite annoyed how long and involved were the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. I'm not an attorney. It's almost scary having to agree to the pages of verbiage without fully understanding it. If I don't know you it's difficult to trust you. You're not in it to protect us; you're in it to make a profit by using us and our information.

I made a reservation on behalf of my boss earlier today and after I had confirmed it, my boss contacted me requesting to add on another night to her reservation. I called their customer service and spoke to a rep by the name of Ade who was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to provide me an additional night for the same rate I had originally reserved for. It was actually going to be double the cost. Working for a non-profit organization, the higher price stated was something we couldn't afford so I requested to cancel the reservation. In a matter of minutes, Ade was able to find a great deal which reduced the price to a lower rate than originally booked for and was able to book the two nights at a much affordable price. Ade was very helpful and really went her way out to find me a better rate. I am very happy with the promptness or my request and the great customer service provided.

I was visiting Trinidad during the peak carnival season,and was stuck,after leaving the hotel that I booked since August,they was trying to put me in a dumpy room,and I had specifically booked a king room,anyway with very little left in terms of decent hotels,I checked a few sites,and found nothing,then I found a room on hotel power for an unbelievable price,even the people at the front desk couldn’t believe I could get a room there for that price,1/3 the going rate.hotel power came through..thx guys..

Great experience with customer service. But, be sure to confirm with hotel actual resort fees. There was a difference of $13.00 a night from what was quoted by sales rep. (ouch!) Either way, I got a fantastic price on the room. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the reservation later. I had no problem. Both customer service reps were outstanding. No pressure.

My booking experience was fine and the agent was helpful. However, after 2 days plus a phone call I'm still waiting for a confirmation email of my reservation. I was told they would get the email out and the agent would reconnect with me, neither of which have happened. Cancelled the reservation since I never received a confirmation and was immediately refunded. Because of the prompt refund I re-booked and had no problem with confirmations, etc. Waiting to take our trip and hope to post positive results upon our return.
