I had problems with the online booking (it would not allow me to proceed) so ended up having to call to complete my reservation. Afterwards, I continued to be harassed by dozens of emails wanting me to complete my reservation, despite multiple replies that I sent them explaining that I already had. Just annoying experience all 'round.

It was an easy way to book our family weekend on the beach. I was surprised about the offer of "insurance" to be able to get most of your refund if something happened that you could not make the trip you booked. That almost happened to us due to work schedules and I had not gotten the "insurance". I'm not trying to push the "insurance", but it probably should be considered during your booking.I may think about that if/when I use HotelPower again. It did give you a timeframe as to when your booking will be confirmed. We did not have a problem when we arrived at the hotel as to whether or not they still "accepted" these types of booking. They also told you upfront at the hotel about any incidentals, so there would be no surprises in the end, The Hotel had the info, it was already prepaid, and all we had to do was check-in, get the key and enjoy the weekend! So, with everybody being upfront and know what to expect, it made it for a carefree weekend!
