I am not some power user. But I do my way around web hosting.
This one is exactly that: a web hoster.
And a good one at that.

I too had a problem with my Wordpress installation. And I have received a good and fast Customer Support (although the mistake was mine, and I am sure the Support Guy figured that out quickly.

I like it.

“Customer support awful”

Where do i start, okay so they're cheap and had pretty good reviews, i like the fact they seemed like a small business and would deal with each customer individually. Everything was okay until i ran into a problem, a technical problem. Which there online support staff, just could not answer they might as well have been robots they were unless, had to swing a lot of emails back and forward, moving up technical support level, when i completely lost it, they provided no VALID phone number, just a voicemail, and customer support would not provide me with one. They said they were working with my issue, FACT is it was there issue, there server and a issue with disabled SSLv3 which was a protocol google made insecure. This is nothing to do with me, yet my site went down on black Friday - the busiest day of the year! If i could give it 0 start for support i would!

“Impeccable Service”

hosting.co.uk have been absolutely fantastic. I initially started off on a reseller package which I was very impressed with. I demand a lot from support as a developer, due to running around 40/50 websites at once, some being very usage heavy, I tend to run into issues quite frequently. These are ALWAYS fixed within a few hours. Since joining hosting.co.uk, I have upgraded to a VPS package where the migration was all taken care of for me including a SSL certificate purchase and setup with minimal downtime. I highly recommend these guys for single site and multi-site hosting.

i needed a quick and easy web hoster. googled, found this one, ordered and was surprised:

i have set up countless blogs/websites for friends and family, some of which were hosted on some strange servers managed by even stranger hosters, so i know my stuff.

with this one everything went smooth, especially for the low price.

nothing special to report though: they did what they said they would; fast and cheap hosting of my stuff.

“Hosting.co.uk is the Worst Affiliate Programme!”

This is probably the worst affiliate programme I have ever encountered, awful customer service along with what seems to be a non communicative team who like to pass an enquiry off to another department!! Stay clear if you are an affiliate!

“Finally a decent web hoster”

I have had my fair share of mediocre web hosters in my time. Most of them seem to always fall short with the basics.

This one is based in the EU (United Kingdom) which comes with it's own merit, especially when it comes to data security for your files.

But the basics, speed, reliability and price, are the points that won me over, and i don't regret it!

“Easy and smart”

This was my first time dealing with a web hosting service.

I must say that I didn't expect everything going so easy. I even contacted the Live Chat Support and got an answer. I know that this shouldn't have to be mentioned on a review like this; answering a chat windows should be nothing special.

But I found that many Services don't actually answer their Support Contact Forms, their Live Chats etc.

Thanks again to Dennis who helped me solve some problems i had with my mail setup, another company could or did not want to solve. That was really quick. Now my Newsletter is up and running and my business website works as expected!

“Excellent service”

Switching or choosing a new host provider with an over saturated market is a mine-field. Most of the host providers on a modest budget don't provide a good service based on customer reviews.

I've switched to Hosting.co.uk based on the good reviews, while meeting with reasonable service costs.

So far so good. They quickly answered all of my enquires usually within 0.5 - 2 hrs even at weekends. Based on the short time I've been with them their service is excellent.

There server speed seems good, my website loads quickly enough. Other tech features which are in their favour:
• Linux based servers
• cPanel
• Good disk space and usage limits

Very happy with Hosting.co.uk so far!

“Fast and Efficient”

I have used several hosting companies but hosting.co.uk are by far the fastest and most efficient. Emails to them are answered incredibly promptly and they treat me like a grown-up - my previous host seemed to think I was an idiot! I also cannot believe how much faster their ftp transfers are. Big thumbs up from me.

After some trouble with my old hosting company i decided to look for a fast and uk based Hoster. They helped me with moving everthing to the new account and made sure the wp worked as expected. The Site feels much more responsive and work in the Wordpress Backend is fun again. Thanks! Thumbs up!

I chose their Ultimate Hosting package to run my personal blog. I have read about WordPress before but never thought it was THAT easy. With Hosting.co.uk I've had my WordPress installed in under 1 minute, literally.

As I'm quite new to all the hosting stuff, it took me a while to figure it out. And the support team was there for me! However complicated I thought my question was, it seemed too easy for the guys. They are really good at explaining difficult things in simple words.

To sum up, the support is awesome and the service is great so far. Would recommend to anyone!

“A pro answered my questions”

I have many sites online for different business, with different requirements. My first site went online in ´96. Most times when you ask questions to support or sales, you get a super long sales pitch with no answer. Those guys are different, you know what? They read my email! They answered my questions, short and precise, straight to the point! I am definitely a complicated client. I asked detailed questions about the mySQL and PHP Config, they answered them all. Another important point is: this is the only one hosting company with a good reputation which offers BitCoins as a payment method! this is really cool!

“Super-fast setup”

Saw an Adwords ad for Hosting.co.uk and the price looked very attractive so I gave them a go. Signed up, paid and was setup in under 10 minutes!

cPanel loads fast and has plenty of features. My 1 support request was dealt with in under an hour and I got the information I needed.

So far so good. Other UK hosts should take note - the guys at Hosting.co.uk seem to know what they are doing!
