I would definitely recommend Homethrive to any of my friends with elderly parents. My Mom's social worker Denise Robles goes above and beyond by providing my Mom with a Livindi table so they can communicate face-to-face on a weekly basis. My 85 year old Mom learned how to work the Livindi tablet and now she contacts Denise on her own. OMG! I'm so glad she raves about the great things Denise is doing and providing for her. I’m so thankful that my employer offered HomeThrive as a service. Truly a part of self care when you have an aging parent. For me, It’s been all new questions and decisions to make. HomeThrive has tremendously eased the stress I was feeling with all the caregiving decisions. My social worker Erin Schlossberg, has eased the stress by guiding me using her wealth of knowledge and experience. I consider this service a lifesaver- both for myself as the caregiver ( child) and my mother who requires caregiving.

Homethrive has helped to ease the stress of my caregiving for a spouse who suffered a stroke. There is not a request or question that goes unanswered. I have an alert system in place; an exercise device for leg strengthening; shopping lists sent with timely, free delivery to my door; and researched information on stroke support groups, county-wide services, and on-line learning. Dealing with an aging agent parent who needs care is always challenging, but throw in the Covid19 Pandemic and it becomes nearly impossible without help.

Our family was faced with that task when my parents got sick in Florida and had to drive back to Michigan by themselves. One of them was hospitalized and diagnosed with the Coronavirus and another was very sick at home.

My sister and I came to their house to help but we were overwhelmed. Luckily, I had heard about Homethrive and signed up. My "Care Guide" Lauren Kessler was a lifesaver! She helped arrange for medical equipment, gave home care options for my parents in a challenging environment, and coordinated with hospital to ensure good after care.

Fortunately, my parents recovered. However, they will have ongoing needs and Homethrive will be there to help. Highly recommend service.

Lauren has provided valuable input and direction to our family. She has also been the main point of contact between our family and the assisted living facility which makes our communications with them easy/efficient.

As the covid 19 pandemic is well underway, my father who is in congestive heart failure at home 1200 miles away, Homethrive was able to get him whatever he needed within a day or two, the relief we feel with their help can not be measured.
