I have never had such an easy or more pleasant time getting my rec, Doctors are awesome and the support staff is unbelievable. I will continue to use them, and urge you all to take it the nice and easy way....no 45 minute drives to a dr, just set your account, and do all on-line....so damn awesome. I just love the way it all worked.....and I had my written rec and photo ID Card in less than 5 business days.........just amazing Use them often, they are well worth it

Quick Easy and cheap..The people at MD we're very friendly. I waited for about 15 min for the doctor for the consultation over Skype or something like that app and got my card mailed within 3 days. I also got a temporary card emailed.

I had an injury that led to muscular spasms; my specialist prescribed muscle relaxants that would leave me so groggy I was incapable of going to work the following morning. I thought that marijuana would help with the symptoms but was hesitant to ask my doctor to help me get a medical cannabis ID card. HelloMD to the rescue! Setting up an appointment was easy; I connected with the doctor through my laptop and explained my situation. Within a few days my official card arrived in the mail and has been accepted at every dispensary I've visited. Now I no longer have to call in sick to work if my spasms are bad the night before.

I am on disability and in a lot of pain and can no longer take some of the pain medications recommended to me by my regular doctor. I found the doctor at HelloMD to be very helpful with alternative strategies for my well being. HelloMD is pretty much everything they claim to be. I'll outline my experience here: Step 1: Sign up and fill out medical info This took about 15 minutes. All I had to do to sign up was enter my email, name, phone number, address, and birthdate. After that, I filled out my medical case in which I explained my ailments and why I thought medical marijuana was right for me. I entered my credit card info to pay, and that completed my registration. Step 2: Arrange and complete the Telehealth video interview After the info is filled out, I downloaded the Zoom app on my phone and called in. I was greeted by a receptionist who told me that the Doctor was currently in a call with someone else, and that there would be a brief wait. I kept the call open as per her instructions and within 20 minutes an alert sounded and the Dr. appeared on screen. After reading my medical case and asking me a few questions, she gave me some recommendations and approved me for the use of medical marijuana. She was very friendly and helpful, and the call only took about 10 minutes. I did the interview the day after I signed up because I signed up outside of their business hours, but if you do it within their hours you could do the call the same day, right after you sign up. Step 3: Receiving the recommendation Within minutes after the call ended, I received an email telling me that I had been approved for medical marijuana usage. It directed me to my HelloMD.com profile where I could download a .pdf immediately with my recommendation. This can be used to have anything delivered from dispensaries as soon as you print it out. However, if you wish to visit a dispensary storefront, you will have to wait until they mail you your official paperwork with an embossed seal, and the card itself (this takes a couple business days). Some dispensaries require the embossed seal, others don't. If you want to try to go without it, be sure to call ahead to the dispensary to check if they require it or not. The card was included in the payment, it doesn't cost extra like it sometimes does at other places. The whole process was fast, easy, cheap, smooth, and completely legitimate. Everyone involved was friendly and professional, and I came out with my medical marijuana recommendation. Highly recommended.

Some dispensaries don't accept the original HelloMD recommendation because it lacks the california gold seal sticker or california embossed seal. Some spots allowed me to become a member, bout 50/50 right mow. I'm not sure why the acceptance is inconsistent. Is HelloMD running a scam, or are the dispenseries that take menot following the rules, or are those insistent on the gold-seal being paranoid?

I always hated going in to the trashy doctor on mission in SF for my card renewal. This exeperience was 90% better. 11/10, would get card again :)

This place was a lifesaver for me. After months of being lazy and putting off getting my medical marijuana card I had had my first siezure in April of 2014 and lost my drivers license.
