Safe was easy to install. to make the instructions more helpful you could add that to remove the tray at the front of the compartment, simply pull up. I was a bit hesitant that I would break some clips or something and couldn’t find anything on YouTube. Otherwise, awesome!

The design is perfect, easy to install and sufficiently strong to deter the criminal from accessing the contents. Design of the side panel set screw is poor though. After minimal tightening, the weld broke. I improvised and simply used some self tapping screws to secure the sides of the vault to the actual console. All good and highly recommended as a secure option for the Ford Explorer. The competitor is a few dollars cheaper but requires a near complete disassembly of the console to get it installed.

Easy install. Product works as advertised. The 4 digit combo lock and gun magnet are awesome additions. Would've given 5 stars but the screws to replace the stock console screws and screw the safe down didn't fit. However overall I'm happy with the product and have already recommended it to several friends and family members.
