Hello Thomas. Thanks for shopping with us and Thank you for your dedication to our great country. One of the items you ordered has a flat rate shipping charge because it is big and oversized. We do not profit from the shipping charge, in most cases we break even or lose 10-15 cents. We are a small family business and not a huge corporation that can absorb the shipping costs like an Amazon does. All of our products are Made in the USA. Amazon or other large retailers get their goods for pennies made in China and have an incredible mark-up on the items so they can afford to ship for free or low cost. I also give back Thousands of dollars each year to non-profits serving Veterans. Thanks again for supporting our family business and hopefully my notes on shipping charges helped you to understand our position as a small family business.
