We traveled with GNI insurance in Feb 2020. GNI is a broker firm and has several companies in their stable. We were assigned to I Travel for our vacation. We were forced to come back early because of the virus and our traveling companions and I submitted claim forms for the unused portions of our trip 20 days for us and 34 days for our companions. Our companions received full restitution for their insurance and we received nothing. I called and text Doug,co owner of GNI several times and he and Tracy one of his supervisors were very cordial but said I travel would not refund any monies because it was against their policy. I travel claimed that our companions had received their money in error and they were not going to make another error by reimbursing us for our claim. Needless to say it seemed like a very unfair settlement. Further protests from me to GNI met with no equitable solution. So I'm afraid I have little choice but to give GNI a poor rating for their handling of the situation. I'm sure Doug can fill in on more specific details if you should need it.

I needed temporary coverage quickly for travel to the USA as a US citizen, which also covered COVID. GNI found the right plan quickly and Beth answered my questions quickly and looked into details of the policy that weren't clear. Hopefully I won't need the coverage, so can't vouch for the insurance company, but the service from GNI was superb, which gives me confidence in the product.
