I am impressed with genesis 950.com as a site AND a PRODUCT.. I LIKE the 50/50 mix for carpets smells fine and does not make carpets crunchy. I actually ordered a second gallon.

This stuff works ok. I bought 5 gallons and was expecting better results for the cost. I went over the room twice and let it sit for about a half hour before using plain water. It definitely improved the few stains I had on the carpet, but only improved the smell slightly. The next nice day i plan on hitting again. As far as other uses like toilets, sinks, etc. I would consider it

I purchased this product with very high hopes of finally being rid of the dog urine odor in my carpet. After multiple applications my carpet is softer and looks cleaner however the odor still remains. I am still hopeful that further applications will do the job.

Skeptical No More!
I was skeptical but now I am sold!! I have 4 dogs and two cats, with a horse and two donkeys in the back yard, so I was always smelling "something." After using Genesis950 on the carpets and furniture, I only smell "CLEAN!"

WOW that's heavy!
The 5 Gallon of my Genesis 950 showed up today! Great shipping experience with your company but I had a heck of a time opening the container and need assistance in pouring. I will buy the smaller bottles in the future. Wish you sold cases of like 1/2 gallon sizes for easier storage and pouring.

I have tried many cleaners claiming to be the best, but this product actually works! I initially ordered the 1 gallon bottle to steam clean my carpets. It did such a good job that I then purchased the 2.5 gallon jug. My main issue was for pet stains. This did not disappoint. I use this in a spray bottle for small stains and in my steam cleaner for larger areas. I don't think the smell is bad (chemical) as other reviews. I would totally recommend.

Robert, If the stain is gone but you can still smell the urine, the contamination is in the padding or possibly even the sub floor. To address this you will need to apply enough Genesis 950 to soak into the affected area leave for 10-20 mins then use a water rinse to remove. It is recommended to rinse several times to ensure all contamination is removed. We would not anticipate any issue with your carpet color, however we always recommend you check a small area first to ensure color fastness. Our Daughter's dog has "marked" several spots on our carpet and thus far I am not impressed with the results of using the genesis950. Blacklight still shows the stain areas, waiting for areas to dry to see how they look under normal light. I pretreated and then used a small Bissell cleaner "Spotclean Pro" to treat and scrub area and suck up liquid.
If this does not work I guess I will either have to rent a bigger cleaner or have some professionals come do it.

Larry Sorry you are not seeing the results you were hoping for, we would recommend rinsing again with just water. Genesis 950 breaks the bond but its the water rinse that removes the stain. While the stain may no longer be visible to the naked eye black light may show residual proteins and may require several clean water rinses to fully remove.

I have one dog who continually rubs his nose/mouth/head on the bottom of the furniture. As you can imagine quite dirty, ugly and smelly looking. Today I mixed the spray bottle 1/3 genesis and 2/3 water. Sprayed the dirty area on the couch and chair, and let it sit for 1/2 hour or more. Came back and some areas were actually clean. I scrubbed it up a little and rinsed. The is NO MORE dirt. Easy, and relatively fast.
While I had the higher concentrate mix, I sprayed on my bathroom tile floor and let sit for a few minutes. I came back and just rinsed! My rinse water was black! The floor was as clean and bright as the day it was put down.
