Pleased with the Jupiter 4 Hybrid bbq which we ordered back in March this was only recently delivered but not the fault of gardenbox. However I am disappointed with the fact that this was sold with a pizza stone and griddle which has not been supplied. I was told this would arrive by the end of may but I have now been told by outback that it will be sometime in July which I find surprising as my local garden centre has them in store.I also ordered the briquettes which makes it a hybrid and gardenbox cannot get them off outback at all. Overall offered a good deal but couldn’t deliver on it.

After several times of contacting , we still have no reply or replacement rotisserie hopefully some one will contact me the product is great but I am giving 1 star until I receive the missing rotisserie

Very poor service had to chase foe any lack of promised delivery date while fully understand there were delays I had to chase to ask numerous occasions also didn’t receive full item

BBQ is great - only used once so far though. Assembly took about 3 hours and there were plenty of steps when things could be fitted incorrectly. A bit of care and thought and it is ok though but not foolproof!
Gardenbox had the item on backorder - communication was patchy but no real complaints. A free pizza stone and griddle are still on backorder from Outback so it has been a drawn out purchase. Gardenbox customer service - Tash was very helpful and pleasant and that is very reassuring.
Overall great product, reasonably good service and given all the CV19 impact on supply chains I’m happy enough with the service.

The product is really good but the level of service was sub-standard. I bought the BBQ from Gardenbox purely because it was shown on the website as available and in stock. After 3 weeks of waiting I emailed, no response, 2 weeks later I tried calling only to receive an automated message saying basically “if you have ordered a BBQ, it will be delivered once the stock arrives with us”. Then many weeks later I received notification it’s out for delivery. The delivery company had entered a wrong address resulting in the BBQ being delivered to a neighbouring house that is empty and a for sale sign outside and no contact with myself, just happened to find it on their drive. Not the service you expect for an item costing over £500

When ordered on website the process was smooth and easy. The problem came with the delay of delivery. I am happy to accept the reasons why the delivery would be late due to Covid and transport issues. What was not acceptable was the attitude shown by members of staff when enquires were made regarding time frames. When a product is 2 months late for delivery I would expect a company to go out of their way to apologise rather than have the attitude of “what do you want us to do about it, it’s not our fault.”
When the product arrived the delivery team were excellent and the product was perfect.
A small apology or small gift would have made a difference to how a customer would feel about the experience.

When ordered we were informed that new stock was due but delays were likely. It took a couple of attempts to speak to someone when contacting them for updates but when speaking to them they were helpful. I’ve now had delivered a great outback BBQ .

However I didn't received the free cooking kit despite the advertisement on the website. When I requested it they said:
"I’m afraid the tool kits are out of stock and we will not be getting anymore for 2021. This was a free item and was removed from the despatch not."
I replied back to them as below:
"I understand that the item was free as a gift however the advertisement to receive a free gift is a motivation for selling the products. This is what most companies doing to encourage and attract customers to buy from them rather than others. You think isn't it better to offer something else as a gift instead of that!"
They ignored my email and didn't respond.
In general the product seems good, Hard to install. I haven't use it yet

I can’t fault the service which I received from garden box I was kept in the loop via about delivery dates yes it took longer than I wished but that was down to a certain ship being stuck. So 10/10 for me and would use again 100% cannot fault them. Thanks once again Garden Box 👍🏼
