I understand completely that there have been shipping problems that were well beyond the control of those at Gardenbox but what isn't beyond their control is customer service. I went 3 months without hearing a word and had to resort to activating an old facebook account to send a number of messages and eventually get a response. I called and left messages numerous times and sent a number of emails and never had a response, it took 4 months for me to speak to someone. The customer service was awful, a single conversation with someone early on would have changed my whole experience and social media should not be the only way a company respond to a customer.

Understand the delay with the kettle joe was down to supplier issues but the whole experience has been poor. The main issue being a lack of customer service, from no replies to emails to promises being made and not kept. I found myself constantly having to chase up the company to find out the status of the order after it had gone weeks past deadlines that you had set. I am still waiting for the discount code I was told I would receive as a good will gesture over a month ago, although I doubt I would use it after this experience. I was also told the delivery would be next day after payment but took 2 days to get an update from a very rude employee at the pallet company, who promised a call from the driver before he turned up. When it was delivered there was now warning or confirmation of who I was just a bbq left on my driveway. I know the delivery isn’t down to your company but you do choose to use them and it impacts the whole experience.

Garden box have been extremely helpful from day one. My wife called in looking to purchase a BBQ. The end product is a fantastic outdoor space for cooking and entertaining. Rick and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful from initial ideas to completion, even coming to site on a Banh Holiday to supervise the granite installation.
Obvious some delays did to covid but had continually contact and support by phone and email. Had a couple of issues with the BBQ when we finally had it up and running (delayed due to covid) but they were on site the same day to resolve them. Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful and absolutely the best customer service. Thanks Garden Box. Will be back.

I was recommended to the Garden Box by a friend and just poppies in to have a look at their products. I ended up buying a Komado Joe that was delivered a couple of days later. It’s one of the best purchases we have made and have been using it frequently. I’ve also a recommended the Garden Box to a friend who also ended up purchasing a komado Joe.

Ordering a bbq bundle from Gardenbox, consisting of a Kamado Joe classic 3 plus their excellent selection of accessories catering for lovers of meat, pizza and vegetarian was an ideal solution for me. It is just an unfortunate coincidence that the Covid 19 pandemic and a certain political decision, occurring simultaneously, created massive disruption to manufacturers, distribution and suppliers throughout all industries including retail outlets. The delay in delivery, of course, was disappointing but in all truthfulness could not be attributed to or anticipated by the staff of Gardenbox. As I was becoming concerned by the slow and seemingly haphazard delivery of items, it was Rick who intervened, communicated with me, and began to organise all the components of my order. My summer of outdoor smoking, grilling, slow roasting and searing was saved. The consequences of a worldwide pandemic, coupled with a political process, causing major disruption of all aspects of commercial and retail services has found a champion in Rick, who has restored my faith in the bond that exists when a contract, offered and accepted in good faith, between retailer and customer is honoured to the mutual satisfaction of all.

The team at Garden box were great. There was an issue with delivery (not their fault) and the Masterbuilt digital gravity 800 BBQ Smoker came one working day after it was planned.

The BBQ Smoker is fantastic. The neighbours have commented on the smell of the food/whisky smoke. There is none of the smoke you get lighting a normal BBQ so you can run the machine during the day even when they have washing on the line. I am going to have to seriously up my game to match the awesome cooking potential of the 800. So far I have done Tomahawks, Short ribs, pork ribs, Chicken breast, bacon wrapped onion, stuffed peppers and sausages on a cast iron skillet where the juices caramelised. The most surprising cook was pizza, soft fluffy base with a crunch!! The 800 will rapidly increase to the set temperature (even from your mobile phone). So far (2 weeks) not single issue with the 800. If you are thinking of buying just do it!

Very friendly. If you are looking for a high quality bbq then I would recommend gardenbox. They have a good range of bbq’s on display so you can compare and make an informed choice. Sales staff let you look without pressure and let the bbq’s sell them selves.

Product shipped as advertised, no fault of Garden Box but the delivery was delivered.
On calling Garden Box, a full explanation was given with apology, so no real issues.

I was after a Napoleon Rogue SE525 which no one had in stock. Gardenbox contacted me and explained they will be getting a few in a couple of weeks. Received updates from them during this period and once arrived was delivered to me. Really good customer service and as for the BBQ, I’m really impressed. Certainly have no hesitation recommending Gardenbox.

Great service. Met the guys at carfest. Order was simple, very knowledgeable... what they dont know about a grill isnt worth knowing! So far so good, just waiting on a BBQ cover and a rotisserie which we are to expect end of August. Very happy so far!
