Didn't send the travel adapters and when chased said my payment hadn't been processed even though the website said it had! Then said couldn't send next day guaranteed so left me having to find them elsewhere at short notice.

Travel plug for India
Bought a travel plug to use during my trip to India.
Arrived promptly (paid extra for next day delivery) and well packaged.
However, the problem is that the plug type is no longer used throughout India, at least not in hotels and offices. It was completely useless to me during my trip.
I asked the retailer to remove the product or at least update their website to make this clear. It's not much fun when you arrive abroad and discover that you can't charge your phone. They didn't respond.
Left a review on their website for this specific product but it never made it on the web page.
Emailed the company and they advised that the review was itself being reviewed for suitability for the site. Needless to say, as the review was less than glowing, it never made it on their website.
And they're therefore still knowingly selling this product to unsuspecting travellers.

Love the bag! Handle is stronge wheels are amazing idea, took it on a field and wood walk just to get the hang of it, is very bulky so I won't be packing it out too much but padding for back is great! And love how many compartments it has!
So far so good the real test is when I take it to Asia :)

I have never travelled before and did not know where to start with buying kit, I spoke to the customer service team who where so happy to help and guid me on what I need to go Thailand, the site literally has everything you need on there for traveling, I orderd all my kit and it arrived the next morning. I'm off travelling for three months and realised my old backpack had seen far better days. I found a 80l backpack on gapyeartravelstore, which was not only a far better price than anywhere else I looked but also was one of a great selection of bags that fit my criteria exactly so I was spoiled for choice (elsewhere I had found the selection of bags with all the features I was after was quite poor). I ordered it and it arrived within two days - great price, great service and I'm sure I will be shopping here again for anything else I find I need before my trip. Highly recommend the company (a bunch of my friends have since purchased various things from them for their own respective travels, and all have had an equally speedy and cost effective service). 5 star.

I ordered 2 Vango rucksacks online over the Christmas period and received an email within the hour confirming my order with a note outlining the Christmas closure dates and explaining when I could expect my order to be processed. This was excellent service as it managed my expectations regarding delivery. The order was processed on the date advised and I received regular emails confirming the dispatch and delivery. I was able to track the delivery and arrange a date that suited my schedule. The delivery was made within the hour time slot I was advised.
