I became a member of Forward in January 2017, shortly after they opened their flagship center in Downtown SF. This was just about a year after my father suffered a fatal heart attack at 61, and certainly a wake-up call for me to take a new approach towards control of my own healthcare. I realized right away that I made the right decision joining Forward, and after six months I am more informed and confident in my health and satisfied with my healthcare provider than with any other "traditional" doctor

The facility and technology it is built around is truly state-of-the art, with your visit beginning on a body scanner which takes your weight, blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, pulse oximetry, and loads of other measurements I don't even understand. The exam rooms are equipped with huge flat screens that house your patient "file" in a sleek digital and interactive form, and they even have off-site medical scribes jotting down patient notes literally as you speak and adding them to your file on-screen (this was a little eerie at first, but they assured me there isn't actually someone watching through a two-way mirror). Really super cool.

Everything related to your current health (past sessions, action plans, test results, vitals, and more) are accessible on the very-well designed patient app. The app also includes truly real-time conversation with your doctor and care-team - literally responses within minutes to medical concerns 24 hours a day (I've tried this out at 3am just to see what happened, and sure enough someone was there in minutes ready to address my question).

The doctors are amazingly competent, the nurses knowledgeable and comforting, and the operations staff incredibly pleasant and personable. It doesn't feel like any doctor's office I have ever visited. There is never a wait (appointments made easily within the app), the staff greats you by name, and the nurse is waiting for you at reception at the precise time your appointment is scheduled.

Of course, membership is not free (although I believe they may have options for low-income individuals), but it is absolutely worth the investment, especially if you have a Health Savings Account. Not to sully this positive review by adding a political reference, but the way healthcare is expected to go would make this unique model even more viable and valuable.

I really cannot express enough how satisfied I am with this concierge full service tech integrated medical practice, and wholeheartedly recommend anyone to check it out for themselves.

Perfect room docktor

It's beautiful inside, and doesn't feel like a normal doctor office. Hands down the best healthcare experience I've ever had. And they use lots of tech and track all of your blood results and body metrics and everything so you can see exactly how your doing on this awesome, huge screen in the exam room. They also have this app so that you can chat with the health staff anytime 24-7 (and send them photos of things you're worried about!) and also keep track of what you should be doing. Very futuristic, great care, and really wonderful care team.

Best doctors clinic I've ever experienced.

Stopped by Forward today and was really impressed with the experience. The space and rooms are really nice and well designed. I also really like how they incorporate technology into the entire experience - iPads for signing in, beautiful interactive screens when discussing with your dr, really fun body scanner. It was just such a pleasant experience overall - everyone I interacted with was super nice and helpful. Also was excited to learn they offer full genetic testing and fast blood tests. I appreciate their approach to healthcare, with a focus on prevention and a more wholistic, long-term view. Def go check them out!

Everyone is professional and well trained. The equipment is entirely up to date. It was so comfortable and easy to use.

Forward is incredible! When you first walk in, you'd never believe you were in a clinic. It's modern, welcoming, and an amazingly simplistic experience driven by smart tech--sign in on an iPad, hop on a body scanner to get measurements, then meet with your doctor. The team is so friendly and helpful; I've always tried to avoid doctors, but feel truly cared for here and have started being proactive about my health. Definitely recommend becoming a member!

I heard about this new start up and signed up for their health check up services. They do a complete physical for you but extend beyond what the general practitioner does with the latest high tech testing. They routinely perform a genetics screening to check for signs of cancer and other diseases. (They didn't pick up on my genetic tendencies of sarcasm).
Next they run a full gamut of blood screening included in this low cost monthly membership. My blood pressure was lower since I lost a few pounds and they gave me a connected monitor so I can upload my BP readings to them to possibly reduce my medicine I take for high blood pressure.
My doctor, (wants me to call him Ravi), was so nice and helpful. He gave me clear and sound advise like I was a family member.
This place rocks and everything is first class including the bathroom. Gowns were Lululemon clothing, got some free Perrier water while waiting, greeted by super sharp workers and the ambience was awesome.
Sign up soon before this place gets crazy busy.
Also, they gave me a Sense sleep monitor to help me with my insomnia. How cool is that, didn't even know these things existed.
