This product does seem to work great, however it is too large/heavy for my small breed dog. I did a lot of research before purchasing this product. It said it was OK for dogs 5 pounds and above. My Yorky is 6 pounds. She now has been diagnosed with a collapsing trachea. :confused: Please consider making different sizes!

Hi Amy, as of now, e-collar technology is about as miniaturized as they are going to get to keep the 100 stim levels, tone, vibration etc. In fact, the ET-300 Mini is the smallest e-collar on the market but everything keeps getting smaller and smaller. We are working on a new model called the Nano which will be the smallest on the planet so keep an eye out for it.
For that size dog you may want to just try our vibration only e-collar; PG-300 and ask use to swap out the Biothane strap with the lighter Nylon strap. This model has 100 levels of vibration and will vibrate that little guy like that across the kitchen floor ;)

I am an older woman who adopted a smart, energetic 2 year old lab mix with a high speed prey/chase reflex! Keeping her on-leash while we got to know each other was killing me and making her frustrated with pent up energy. We live in the hills and woods of Vermont, in a perfect setting for running free. I tried several training classes and a cheap vibrating collar. When I found this collar and company, I found the help I needed to make it safe for my young friend to run free and still have a tool to get her attention back, except under the most stimulating of chases,deer mostly.
I watched several helpful training videos on-line and soon we had a working relationship off leash. I especially love the bright light on the collar for our walks in the dark hours before and after work.
I have only ordered one other item besides the original collar but both purchase experiences were hassle free and all items are just as advertised.
I highly recommend this collar and company for conscientious trainers that need a long distance obedience.

I have had the Educator 2box system before and I loved that collar. This new one will be as good. I do wish that Educator could come up with a slightly more ergonomic fitting box like the Dogtra Arc. Other than that I have no suggestions to improve their products. Customer service on my old collar was excellent, I expect the same for the Mini.
