Absolutely amazing format and so super easy to use

No thanks, I won't write a review. However, I will tell you about a couple of pet peeves I have with your otherwise good service.

1) when copying a field that includes payment, not all parts get copied. Specifically, the Show Price defaults to showing the price, This is a problem for me, as I do school lunches, and put up a month's worth at a time. Since all lunches are the same price, and showing prices only reminds customers that they are spending money, I don't want to show prices item-by-item. So I have to go back and change 20 entries each month— a very tedious and unnecessary task.

2) In order to make it easy for parents to order lunches for another child, I use your very handy Repeating function. All they have to do is click "another child" and the order form repeats, without the need to enter their contact data. However, I can't export data from these repeating fields in the Entries page, I have to click on a field or export the data. Inconvenient again, though not as bad as #1.

3) When contacting a parent, in the event of unpaid orders, for instance: I click on their entry on the Entries page to get the details. I'd like to send them the form, but—whups!— their email doesn't show on that detail. No problem, just move the detail window. Whups again! the detail window is inexplicably frozen in place over the email address. Hats off, I've never seen a popup window behave like that before, you must have worked hard for that feature. Close the detail window, copy the email address, open the detail, click on Share, paste the email, write a very standard note about nonpayment. Do it again, write the same note again. Why? Because I can't copy the note, I've already copied an email address. Why not close the detail, copy the note from elsewhere and paste it in? Because the email draft gets lost when I close the detail window, and I can't recover it.

Yes, if I was perfect, this would be easier, but I'm not. Andretyping a note six times, like I just did two days ago, gets old quicky. Why not just unfreeze the detail window, or copy all the contact info in it? Beats me, but it would make using Cognito much easier.



Fix these and I'll bump your rating and tell more friends. Don't do it for that, though, do it because it makes life easier for a lot of your customers.

when I create forms that include calendar dates in them, the extracted reports in excel format do not have uniform date formats. in one file some have MM/DD/YYYY while others have DD/MM/YYYY

After researching more than a dozen online form platforms and actually testing 7 of them, I can say Cognito Forms is the best of the bunch. Their free offering far surpasses anything out there, and their paid options are underpriced, IMO.

I love it, no complaints!
