The form was easy to build and the options available were useful, however a bit more flexibility in the back end would have been helpful - the display of collected data in the web interface is awkward and it didn't seem to be possible to edit or correct fields (e.g. when people clearly switch their first and last names when filling out a form). This meant it was necessary to export to an excel and clean data there, but the inability to rearrange columns and the fact that each column retains the full question name meant this was a little bit awkward to do as well. In short, a great front end and a nice, user-friendly interface for form building, but working with collected data (in this case we were using the form for event registrations) was a bit of a hassle.

After being asked to investigate Wufoo and finding it limited in scope, I happened across Cognito Forms. I was surprised to find that I was able to prototype a large working form in a couple of hours, and within the week I had a fully functional solution. The ability to incorporate conditions, logic and now look-ups means that there is very little that you can't accomplish with Cognito Forms, and their support has been excellent so far. Most of our vital data gathering tools for clients and for our own staff are now built with Cognito Forms.
