I needed a free form fast that was quick to set up and had minimum advertising for a community project.
I tried the first one that was recommended but it only had a short free trial period.
I glanced at several other options and search engines and Cognito appeared in many of them.
I downloaded it and was up and running within minutes.
Soon after going live I noticed I needed to do a few changes which were quick to achieve HOWEVER other changes were more challenging, so I contacted the help desk. The response and support was fast and helpful. More importantly, they listened when I made recommendations for improvement!
Would definitely recommend Cognito for both small and larger needs.

The transition from one system to another can often be an agony. None of that with Cognito forms. One can start working with it immediately and if anything is unclear, their support center is ready to answer your question very quickly. One of the many advantages is the link with SharePoint. The layout of the forms is clear, and with some creativity you get a very professional result. The only minor drawback is the delay in opening a form with a slightly larger list for look-up fields. For the rest, nothing but praise!

Would like to see a few additional functions to make it even better.. 1. Ability to copy sections from one from to another. Currently you can only copy an entire form. 2. Improve the Sharepoint to allow exporting of completed forms .

Easy to use and setup simple form in few mins, Form interface is user friendly.
However, users might need some kind of minimum programing skill, once getting into setup references or use some advanced data manipulating features that are included in the form features.
The good news is that with the above customizable features, users can make their form look and performs even better. Tho, I'd my self have difficulties using those features, I still find it useful. But for others who can write references using programming basics maybe, it's a piece of cake!
For non-computer people like me, it's not! 1-star deduction there for me.

Love the software but it is lacking security features. Adding support for 2 factor authentication should really be a basic security feature to protect data (passwords are not enough). Companies like Duo Security, Google. and others have free or very low cost solutions with well documented API's.

1. Cognito Forms is not intelligence to reject submissions after cut-off time. (For example a restaurant needs min 3 hours to cook/deliver a food order; but customer can still submit orders anytime even can back date the order)
2. No interface with WhatsApp - customer cannot receive their confirmation message thru WhatsApp and seller cannot receive new entry submissions on WhatsApp. (Note: almost 95% of transactions are done using WhatsApp in Malaysia & Singapore)
3. Form Link on WhatsApp message display Cognito Forms logo instead of that Form's header banner.
Pro:
1. Very powerful calculation functions.
2. So far Support team service is efficient and reliable.
