Two of the coins were loose in the boxes and out of their capsules. I’ve emailed and phoned but so far have had no response.

We do apologise that the parcel arrived in an unsuitable condition and the Proof coins are not in their capsules as intended. Previously The Royal Mint used to issue good quality capsules that screwed shut and held the coins in place but now push shut and may become loose in transit. However, we have various quality control measures in place and always ensure that the capsules are closed.
So please accept our apologies, if you would like to return the coins in capsule to us and we will send out perfect replacements and we will return the defective coins back to The Royal Mint.

Order process was simple in spite of there being a system fault on the day. This was easily resolved by a call to Robyn in customer services who was very helpful and re-assuring. Gold arrived yesterday as promised.

Excellent service only negative is signed for delivery because of covid they are signing for me and I worry that if I weren’t there to collect in my hand then what if it goes missing. I’m sure it’s covered and this is no reflection on chard who have provided me with an excellent service. 5 stars ⭐️
