Your service was excellent. We were rather disappointed with the property, but that was more our fault than yours. We should have started looking MUCH earlier to find a cabin with better vistas; a hot tub and the other accommodations we prefer. I've already shared CCR's info with a number of friends and coworkers and have encouraged them to give you a try.

We had a great experience from booking to check out. Looking to stay with Carolina Cabin Rentals again next year!

Great cabin and wonderful view. Enjoyed our time there very much. Refrigerator needs to be tilted up in front so that the door closes normally without having to push it closed.

Have been renting cabins for years...this is the BEST!!! So tastefully decorated and first class linens and beds. This is the mt house I would own...after I won the lottery! Loved the different areas of the home to gather in. The hot tub was exceptional and so was the deck area around it. Great views except could not see any because of the fog and rain due to terrible storm. This house easily survived the storm from New Orleans. Loved the pool table too. Plan to rent again next year and have never rented the same house twice. Very clean. Lovely quality home.

It was a beautiful cabin loved the old rustic structure the view is breath taking we have stayed in so many cabins over the years but the look of this one is fantastic the thing that we didn't like is that the cabin was not that clean and the trash cans were all full we had to clean before we moved in we would rent again providing the cabin being clean. Thanks

We had a wonderful stay in Higher Ground. The unit was in excellent shape, well appointed, and had a beautiful view of Grandfather Mt. Everyone I had contact with from Carolina Cabin Rentals was extremely helpful and accommodating. I couldn’t have been happier with their service!

The rental process and property met all of my expectations.

The rental was dirty. Towels in dryer. Floors not cleaned. Fireplace not working properly. Keurig coffee maker on the blink. No trash dumpster on property. Was never informed that this property was next door to banquet hall where there was a party/cook-out/live band playing on one of our days. Our building was Open-House to potential buyers so there was traffic in/out. No place to park because of the party. There were (4) four wheelers being used for the party. When I talked to Justin about these issues I was informed that they did not have control over reception/banquet area. I said a courteous informational clause may be appropriate for future rentals for this property. Justin made me feel like I had no right to complain about the sanitary conditions. He needs to be educated in how to confront a complaint and answer appropriately. Best part about this property is the swing on the porch and the view of the mountains.

Enjoyed our stay at Seven Up. Only two small complaints. The outside garbage cans were full when we arrived and the dishwasher was full of dishes. We called the office and they sent someone to collect the garbage which was great. Wish the weather was a little better but we certainly can't control that. Would have no hesitation using CCR in the future.

We had several problems while we were there - when we arrived it was dark, there were no numbers on the house, and the tv was on in a bedroom. The back of the home(where you end up at the end of the road) looks nothing like the front that is on the web-site. We thought we were at the wrong house. We turned around and went back down the hill and looked up - to see the stone facade and realized it was the right house, turned back around. All this on a very narrow mountain road! There was a broken chair and broken blender that we reported right away. The floors did not look like they had been swept. We found the next day when the rest of our group arrived that the floor in the basement bedroom was saturated with water. I reported immediately and asked what we should do. No response. It was Friday. Having to take trash away was a first for us. There were 7 of us so there was a bunch. We finally found the directions (not on the fridge as we were told) and took all we had down on Saturday as the trash place was closed on Sunday when we were leaving. We still ended up with two bags of trash by the time we left Sunday and NO room in our vehicles to take it with us - did I say the 7 of us were all women! We were afraid we would be charged for leaving trash. There seemed to be a charge for everything! The fire pit was functional but "concrete blocks" to sit on? Really? And there was no light up there. Appeared there was a light, but the wires were frayed so we would not try it. I know this all sounds negative but it was not all that way. The house had plenty of room for us all, though we found the showers really cramped and not enough hot water for more than three of us to shower. Would we rent this one again, no we wouldn't. There was just too much not to our liking, but we are women and we just wanted to relax. We paid for housecleaning, so we didn't expect to have to do trash ourselves. We all worred constantly about whether we got our faces washed good enough not to get make up on anything and have to pay for sheets/towels. Honestly, we fretted about things too much there. We are off to try another one (we go every year for last 15 years) that doesn't make us nervous!
