We traveled down to the store from the other side of town, but the item we wanted to see in person was no longer on the floor. Their system was down so we were told to order the item online. We did, but their was a mix up with delivery and that was delayed by a few days with some confusion. We're happy with the item, but but it was an uneven experience.

Thank you for the feedback, Ms Henderson. This was a "perfect storm" of technology biting back...our store suffered a PC system failure with a three-day duration that hobbled all our operations: sales, delivery, follow-up. In addition, two numbers in your phone number were transposed, so our freight company couldn't call you. I'm glad to say that you've reported that you're happy with your daybed, so that's what counts! Thanks for shopping with us.

Great service, follow-through on special order, and installation
Saleswoman Eleanor was very helpful in selecting fabric for a headboard that was outside the headboard manufacturer's sample fabrics. She didn't give up.
Two men who installed the headboard were great too. Allowed me time to vacuum under the bed!

Quality appearance but not quality made
I purchased a very large couch, a bedroom headboard, and 5 bar stools in the Fall of 2011. Within the first month, both the headboard and the couch had issues. The back of the couch in one section had to be adjusted and refastened. The headboard had some large lump at the top and it too had to be unstapled, adjusted and reattached. The seat backs of the bar stools come lose and wiggle slightly. So, as "maintenance" we have to tighten the screws underneath.
Right now there is another defect in the couch cushion. It appears the "roping/trim" on the seat cushion is slipping out of place. I need to contact the store and see about having this fixed. I know it will not be covered under warranty. In a normal situation, I agree with that. However, there have been numerous quality issues with my pieces and I wish they would fix my cushion free of charge. It's very frustrating because I truly love the pieces in the store but have not been able to go back and purchase additional furniture for my home because of the quality issue.
I will say this..... all complaints were addressed immediately. The sales staff was very attentive and helpful during my search and afterwards with correcting the defects.
I would consider future purchases, if I felt like steps were taken to use better quality manufacturers.

Attentive, knowledgeable salesperson helped us select our perfect sleeper for our media room.
When you go, drop by several times. Find the salesperson for you. Talk to them. I needed a patient, knowledgeable, and honest person that would help me with what I consider hard decisions. Furniture is expensive. Tell them your budget and discuss planned function. Sit with the furniture. Take your time. That's how we were able to find out perfect sleeper sofa.

Great Store, High-Knowledge Salespeople, But Unprofessional
This is a great store to browse through, and if you're looking for people to help you visualize what type of furniture, etc. to integrate into your home, they're helpful with that, too. I paid the fee of $75 to have someone come see my house to give me ideas. She texted me the morning of the scheduled appointment asking to push it back 2 hours (no apology). I couldn't do so, so we rescheduled for later that afternoon. Once in my apartment, she was really helpful with visualizing how to decorate, but she did hiss at my cat (who, in fairness, started it, but let's be honest: there was only one cat involved and yet there were two creatures hissing). This decorator made a number of comments of how she would do my decoration pro-bono, because what she was doing wasn't what she usually did (I'm not sure what she usually did, and what was extra, and I didn't ask for anything extra-- this all made me uncomfortable).
Once the visit was over I was left with some really solid general ideas for how to proceed (she really did have a good eye!), and the decorator told me she would get back to me with a plan on which products to buy from Collectic that were in my budged that jived with her vision and my style. If I bought $250 or more of products within 6 weeks (?), the $75 visit fee would be deducted from that total. I waited about a month, and then got a text saying she hadn't forgotten about me and that she would extend the 6 week period for me to get the $75 dollar credit. A couple of weeks later, I received a text around 10:30pm letting me know she had a powerpoint ready for me and asking me to swing through the store the next afternoon. I wasn't able to do so on such short notice and given the late text message (among other things, all of which I found unprofessional) I wasn't inclined to continue working with her, so I didn't respond.
