Best bike I ever had. My Stout is my new best friend .... riding got sliding. I definitely enjoy this eternal tailwind ....

I am really impressed with my new Ampler Stout. The quality of materials and how it has been put together makes it a thing of beauty. The app is very clear and easy to use.
I have done close to a hundred miles in a week including some serious hills in the Yorkshire Dales. Whilst there are more powerful bikes for hill climbing the combination of looks
and agility more than compensate.

Love it. Tried this and Van Moof, think I made the right choice....

It’s really a lovely bike. Relatively light for an e bike and agile in handling. Perhaps somewhat unusually I bought it to use in the countryside. It’s hilly here without having very large upward slopes, just lots of ups and downs. I’m very glad I bought the geared option as despite the e assistance you definitely need them I think if you are going to ride on gradients. I would have preferred the carbon drive but that had to go in favour of gears. It’s definitely not good on tracks, anything without a good asphalt surface. It's definitely more of a road bike. There is a rough track the last 150 metres or so up to where I live and that’s hard going! You have to be quite careful on uneven surfaces and the ride is very hard and the seat unforgiving! All this though is worth it for me as a tradeoff against lightness ( forks would of course add quite a bit to weight) and agility when you are on decent roads. A couple of other things. I’m 5’ 8” and the medium is largish on me. I have to have the saddle low to the point of being just under the min band on the seat tube which means a couple of the lights go below the surface obscuring them! And one oddity..perhaps Ampler can reply to this. I find the bike sometimes switches itself on when I go back to it when I’m sure I have left it turned off. Is this a fault?

Wonderful driving experience !

The bike is matching perfectly with my needs, assistance in hills without loosing the "classic" bike experience.
The only drawback I see so far is on the app: The app is the only way to see stats (e.g. the battery status or km done) but it is compulsory to be connected by bluetooth to the bike to see them. An offline mode would be practical to be able to consult them.

Great bike in terms of performance, quality of construction and design. Small problem, easy to solve I hope, with front brakes. Paint seems delicate. Ii would buy it a gain.

Ich möchte soooooo gern 35 Km/h fahren auf meinen privaten Grundstück! Warum könnt ihr mir das nicht freischalten??

Seit etwa 600 km fahre ich nun mein Ampler Stout und möchte gar nicht mehr absteigen. Das Rad hat Suchtpotenzial. Es ist und fährt super leicht, ohne Akkuschub wie ein normales Fahrrad, mit Schub äußerst komfortabel. Die Reichweite ist mit 70 angegeben, locker erreiche ich über 90 km. Großes Lob!! Ein bisschen Kritik muss ich auch loswerden: Der Powerknopf ist doof platziert, das An- und Umschalten (Licht und Boost) erfordert jedes Mal Absteigen, es sei denn, man verwendet die unzuverlässige Ampler-App auf dem Smartphone. Das reicht aber nicht zum Punktabzug. Also: Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Einwandfrei! Bestes Bike!

The bike is fine. Service sucks. I wrote four days ago that my bike bell was broken and asked to resolve this situation. Four days ago. The only reply I got was “Thank you for reaching out”. Not helpful.

This bike is great at any level. Light, fast, easy. I have not yet been able to really calculate the number of kilometers that can be done with a battery charge. Little note: maybe need a little adjustment of the derailleur because a gear makes a little noise. I dare not do it myself.

Mooi fiets die niet echt op een ebike lijkt.
De app werk helaas voor geen meter .
Elke keer verliest hij het contact met de telefoon.
Dit betekend dat hij de rit die je maakt niet registreert en dus niet terug kan zien.
Na dat ik de firmeware had geüpdatet kreeg ik deze problemen.
Daar voor werkt de app wel goed.
Erg lastig lastig als je de fiets naar stand 1 of 2 wil zetten tijdens het rijden.

Een rit van 70 klmtr red je makkelijk zeker als hem op 1 zet kan je zeker 100 klmtr rijden met ondersteuning
