Seitdem ich das Curt (Single Speed) im September geliefert bekam, habe ich nun an die 500 km in der Stadt und der näheren Umgebung gesammelt. Jeder einzelne Kilometer war Freude pur, denn Kurti, wie er nun heißt, will einfach nur fahren. Und das mit einer Lebhaftigkeit, die ich bei vergleichbaren Pedelecs nicht erlebt habe. Kurti ist kompromisslos - hart, agil und leicht. Ich mag das.

Da mir die Unterstützung durch den Motor zu kräftig war, habe ich diese in der App auf etwas mehr als die Hälfte (130W, 70) eingestellt. Damit bin ich ohne größere Anstrengung schnell unterwegs, ohne dabei das Gefühl zu haben, dass mir der Motor jegliche Arbeit abnimmt. Ein angenehmer Nebeneffekt ist ein kaum nach spürbarer Übergang in den Bereich ohne Motorunterstützung.

Mein einziger Kritikpunkt bezieht sich auf den Lenker und die Griffe. Beides dürfte meiner Meinung nach etwas ergonomischer ausfallen. Ansonsten freue ich mich immer noch auf jede Runde mit Kurti.

Mein Fazit: Wer ein kompromissloses, leichtes Pedelec für die Stadt und das (flache) Land sucht, wer gerne etwas schneller unterwegs ist und wem ein geradliniges, aber trotzdem unauffälliges Design wichtig ist, der ist beim Curt in der Single Speed Variante bestens aufgehoben.
Wer mehr Wert auf Gepäck, Komfort und ein unauffälliges Erscheinungsbild legt, sollte sich Stout oder Stellar ernsthaft ansehen.

Great bike !

Arrived ahead of time, great build quality and very pleasing, yet modest looking urban bike. Like the "kick" that you get out with max power on the start of your ride. Lots of fun to ride. Would like to have the tweaking possibility of higher speed and power as it was possible with the previous models.

Great bike, love the quality. Only downside is the speed limit set to 25 km/h. Would love to change it via the app to 32 km/h, which is possible with the new van Moof.

Great commuter bike. Well built, comfortable, and the perfect amount of assist. And it still looks and rides like a normal bicycle!

Agile, solid, efficient, beautiful, silent, lightweight etc etc. Really impressed with my gearless Curt (but also with the whole purchase experience: efficient customer support, and fast delivery). I like the feel that I'm still pedaling (not being just a passenger), but the electric assistance provides the help in a manner that you move effortlessly (and faster) and even steeper hills pose no problems. The bike feels also special thanks to (or despite of, if you prefer) its simple and understated design. Only 2 mods so far: even though the bike comes complete (even with the bell), I preferred to go for Schindelhauer ergonomic leather grips and Crankbrothers Stamp 1 pedals (less good-looking than Ampler's standard issue, but with more grip). Still thinking about installing a bullhorn or pursuit handlebar, even if Ampler has recommended against it.

Love this bike it makes a huge difference to my commute (10 miles each way). If I had to describe it in easy words: for my cycling style it effectively turns all the uphill sections into flats. I still cycle as hard as I am comfortable with, which cuts about 15 minutes off my journey time vs my old bike.
