I bought the Stout. Ampler has a pretty slick process from order to delivery: fast and customer friendly. And during delivery process, I regularly received "personal" mails with updates.
Unboxing was fast and simple. Professional packaging. And my first kilometers with my Stout were extremely smooth. Even without the power, it rides smoothly. Very nice bike. And good looking :).

I am commuting into work with my Ampler in the city (Zurich, Switzerland) with a lot of up and downhills. One way usually takes 7 km.
Before my purchase I was a bit skeptical about the uphill support.
But I must say, these guys did a great job. I dont have problem anymore with sweating and uphills. Of course I feel the difference between uphill and straight route, but that’s the reason why I bought a bike and not a motorcycle.
The electronic support comes naturally as you increase the strength in your pedalling. Compared to some other eBikes, where the support starts immediately and the bike kind of jumps.
The structure of the bike is solid. Feels very stable, it is a precise work.
Previously I would not go that often to ride, but with the electronic support it became kind of fun so I go more often.

Generally excellent electric bike. I wanted something as light as possible. I have a heart defect so struggle with more than 3 or 4 miles at a time. Now I’m finding I can double or triple that and feel the same afterwards.
It’s very light to put up on a car bike rack especially a tow bar mounted one.
The range on one battery charge is fine for me. I suppose it would be ideal if the battery could be easily removed for changing rather than just replacement.

I love my Stellar - being able to go uphill and start away from traffic lights without effort is a joy. I do have a suggestion for improvement: the rear lights should be somewhere where they can be seen when you have luggage on the rack.

I was seeking a lightweight (not more than 16-18kg), durable e-bike with upright biker's position to be used at weekends in the Sudety mountains (southwest Poland) forest roads. Following the googled reviews, I decided on the Ampler Stout despite the fact that there is no authorised workshop in Poland. The bike was delivered 5 weeks ago in perfect condition. So far I have made just few short trips (max. 50 km) and found only advantages: the ride is very smooth, it goes well also without the e-support, the motor works quietly (on a contrary to some other e-bikes I tried before), its overall ergonomy is perfect and it looks like a classic bike.

Superb ebike. Looked at VanMoof S3, Ribble SLe, Cube and Cowboy, but the Ampler Stout beat them all for style and design. The ride is so comfortable and the assistance perfect whilst still leaving plenty of scope for improving my fitness when desired. The finish of the bike is excellent and is carried through to the mudguards. All the components are super quality and contribute well to the overall pacakge.
Thrilled when it arrived within a week of ordering, in a large well designed box that just lifts off the bike leaving it free standing ready for the minimal setup - using the supplied tools.
I would recommend this bike and this company without hesitation.

Since I bought the Amplker Stout e-bike, I have used it for approximately 3 hours in total. After 20-30 min of driving, there is a strange cracking sound from the motor unit. I made a video from this and the suggestion was a malfunction of the motor unit. I had to bring the bike to Berlin for repair, but when it was returned to me, the same issue started again after a short driving distance.
The Ampler customer service suggested to bring the bike to Berlin again (which is a 6 hour drive) and refuses to give any refunds for an obviously non-working bike. (In theory, Ampler offers local pickup, but you need the original bike transport package for this…which I did not keep. The recommendation to try to get a bike transport package from a local bike shop is not really practical.)
Maybe it will be possible to resolve the situation with another repair session, but I have my doubts. In the present situation, I cannot recommend the Ampler Stout bike.

Very happy with new bike, we ride with road bike and Ampler together and the assistence is perfectly balancing out the difference. Over 100 km per day with 1200 positive climning meters she arrived with still 35 % batterie. Ideal for trekking long distance ans easy to demound the wheels for transport in the car. We will spent our summer holiday on the bike.
