Casings were tied with nylon string which is fine but I've been stuffing and tieing with loop string used for hanging and using oven and cooking horizontal ! The previous order had old school string which held the knot tension better . No biggie I just have to get some regular butcher string I've never smoked my summer sausage because years ago I was told that smoke wouldn't penetrate casing anyhow?!?!?

Thought your casings held up much better then I'm used to. Did 140#s of snack sticks using high mountain spices and only had two blow outs. Very impressed.
