I am a complete novice to investments full stop and had no previous interest in whiskey either. I chose to explore investing in whiskey following an internet search for general information on ‘new to investing’ Shane at VCL Vintners has supported me through the whole process with patience and kindness, answering all my ‘very’ many questions with clarity and on a level that I understood, no question was too much trouble. I am so grateful to him because now I have a fantastic investment for my future and a full understanding of what the investment entails. I also have a lot better understanding of how whiskey is produced and new interest to boot. Shane is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the subject and I would not hesitate to refer others to him or for that matter, invest further myself in the future if circumstances allow. As somebody who had some spare cash to invest but little interest in or knowledge of stocks and shares, I had read somewhere about the possibility of investing in cask whiskey and found my interewst piqued enough to make further inquiries about the possibility. George followed up a couple of days later with a phone call and talked me through the process before sending a follow-up email to peruse that was so thorough it left me with few if any questions when he called back to see if I had any a few days later. Always scourteous, friendly and patient (he had no complaints when I had to reschedule one telephone appointment at quite short notice), at no point did George attempt anything resembling a "hard sell" and I am pleased to have invested my money with VCL. Of course only time will tell whether it was a shrewd financial move or not but while I don't know much about stocks and shares, I know plenty about people and drink, and therefore suspect I'll be happy enough with my return a few years down the line.

Came into this completely fresh, would not have bothered all too much if it was not for one Shane Thurston who was extremely patient with my questions, receptive and knowledgeable in his responses. He maintained a great level of professionalism throughout, and was transparent in his explanations. As with any investment, more than certainly does come with its attached risks, but definitely is a very interesting asset class in such curious times, and recommend it, especially if it's via VCL, and even more so through Shane !

Over a year ago now I initially contacted George to get some more information into whisky investing. All the information received along with various phone calls with all the right information. due to financial outgoings I put it all on hole for a year, George respected this and no nuisance calls were made to me. I recently re contacted George to follow up on an investment which was dealt with quickly with no issues through out. I look forward to what the future of whisky brings!

Max guided me through the process and explained all I need to know and answered my question. I was concerned as there are scams out there concerning whiskey purchase, but again Max gave me all the information I needed to make an informed decision
