My New adventure, I decided to venture a new way to invest my money, met Max for a drink and a talk on how it all works, which was a very nice personal touch, and also received some miniature bottles from one of the distilleries I was investing my money in , all in all a 5 star experience from the start to completion of the purchase of my 4 casks

I had a very positive experience with VCL when discussing and making an investment. There was no hard-sell, jargon or other concerns. I was given all the information that i requested, and was given time to consider my options. Shane was positive, polite and professional throughout my conversations with him. After i decided to invest, the transaction was easy to complete, and i received full documentation detailing the transaction. I would happily recommend to others (and already have done).

I was initially dubious at the possible rates of investment quoted by VCL (for cask whisky), but after much research I was able to confirm the reality of their offer. I was provided with sufficient information, both from VCL and through links to outside sources, and at no time did I feel pressurised, or hounded to make a decision on investment. Once I had made the decision to invest, I received follow-up emails and documentation within a few hours. I had 7 days to proceed with the investment, and even after that I had a further 14 days cooldown period. Documents were signed via a secure document service, and I was able to check banking details, etc. prior to proceeding. It was a surprise to receive a beautiful on-boarding gift (samples from one of the distilleries I invested in), through the post (with hard copies of my investment certification) within four or five days. I'm now the proud owner of 3 casks of whisky, and I look forward to seeing how they develop over the next 5-10 years. Considering the inflation rate is about 5% more than any investment rate I can get in a bank, this is the only way I can see of not allowing my hard-earned money to shrink in the current economic climate.
