The so called money laundering review was unnecessary. Vintners exposed private information to individuals which inturn criminal group new we possessed investments in Whiskey here in Albania . I had explained to Vintners that the Australian government checks all foreign exchange transaction before any transfer are executed. Vintners needs to listen to clients when it was explained that Australia has its own money laundering checking process. I also expressed to Vintners that it appeared that Vintners is using the money laundering process as a method of exposing the Vintners name to a wider audience.

I am a complete novice to investments full stop and had no previous interest in whiskey either. As somebody who had some spare cash to invest but little interest in or knowledge of stocks and shares, I had read somewhere about the possibility of investing in cask whiskey and found my interewst piqued enough to make further inquiries about the possibility. George followed up a couple of days later with a phone call and talked me through the process before sending a follow-up email to peruse that was so thorough it left me with few if any questions when he called back to see if I had any a few days later. Always scourteous, friendly and patient (he had no complaints when I had to reschedule one telephone appointment at quite short notice), at no point did George attempt anything resembling a "hard sell" and I am pleased to have invested my money with VCL. Of course only time will tell whether it was a shrewd financial move or not but while I don't know much about stocks and shares, I know plenty about people and drink, and therefore suspect I'll be happy enough with my return a few years down the line.

Came into this completely fresh, would not have bothered all too much if it was not for one Shane Thurston who was extremely patient with my questions, receptive and knowledgeable in his responses. He maintained a great level of professionalism throughout, and was transparent in his explanations. As with any investment, more than certainly does come with its attached risks, but definitely is a very interesting asset class in such curious times, and recommend it, especially if it's via VCL, and even more so through Shane !

Over a year ago now I initially contacted George to get some more information into whisky investing.
