I purchased a lemon car from CarMax and at the time my credit was terrible and so I was stuck with a high rate of 24%!!!! The large car payments on top of all the repairs was killing me. I found the people very friendly and helpful with my account. We had a few issues but resolved them quickly. I would for sure recommend them to my friends and family.

While open road lending did get me a better interest rate and little bit of a smaller payment each month. It was a painstaking process. Whitney my loan advisor was not educated with the process. It took over a month to complete. And I had to send and resend documents over and over again due to her lack of knowledge of what is needed and how it was needed. Some I could send a picture. Then she would tell me she didn't get it. Then she did, then it was a need that faxed. Then mailed. Then every time you send something you get a generic email back saying welcome tonipentoad lending. I got that email almost a dozen times. It made this experience feel very non-personal. Documents would say fax in the top corner. Then I would get an email saying you need to mail them. Or take a picture. It took so long, I had to get my payoff twice because the 10 days were over the first time. Very disorganized process and company in my opinion. Thanks Scott
