Found the estimating service on the website useful, but placed my order over the phone to ensure I'd interpreted the detail correctly. Used the removal service which meant nothing to worry about except watching the installation. I found the opportunity to choose a bespoke bed far more reassuring than other companies I contacted. Otherwise the bed does exactly what it says on the tin.

I visited several electric bed outlets before I took the plunge and Laybrook were by far the best. They are knowledgeable and helpful and very flexible if you want something a bit non-standard. Plus, they were by far cheaper than anywhere else.

The bed has been, and still is a great benefit for us. Comfort is second to none and the vibro-massager is great for relieving our old age aches and pains. Recommended for a good nights sleep.

Advice on mattresses very poor. Test period of one week totally inadequate. I was unable to change rooms during the first week and therefore failed to discover the snags of the foam. When this was explained it was met with a blank refusal to co-operate apart from the offer of a new spring mattress for £300!!.

The bed mechanism itself was great but the ordering process could have been more helpful. I ordered a sprung mattress only to be told, when it developed faults after just a couple of weeks, that these are not intended for adjustable beds. I've tried 3 mattresses in total and still do not feel that I am comfortable at night. But they did exchange without quibble. I think I would have bought a different mattress elsewhere had I known about the problems I might have. I don't find memory foam comfortable and I struggle to sleep well because of this.

If your looking for any specialist equipment I would highly recommend Laybrook, I found all employees extremely helpful in making sure i got all that i required, they all made the purchase of buying my new bed an easy and trouble-free action.

The mattress is very comfortable. About the easy ordering process; I telephoned for advice and this was easily understood to assist with choices and arrange a convenient delivery date. The clear paperwork arrived, as did the mattress. Everything went as expected in a pleasant, professional, friendly manner.

Ordering process was quite easy. Delivery was for the most part within the expected time span. However, there was an issue with the supply and delivery of the special fitted sheets. We ended up making our own before the ordered ones were delivered. Bed wasn’t cheap by any means. Installation was efficient. By back options was disappointing. We were initially led to believe we would receive more than we actually did even though it was admitted the bed was extremely good quality and had been well looked after and was only just over a year old. By back cheque did arrive quickly though.

No stars. Appalling service, sly tricks and currently doing in county court as product unfit for purpose and reneged on refund policy.

Having placed an order, and paid a big deposit, we then waited for almost 3 months before eventually being told that the bed couldn’t be delivered. Calls not returned. I wouldn’t use Laybrooks again if they were the last company avaiable. Eventually went to Theraposture, where we received first class service, excellent communication and a premium product with the tie promised time frames.

Paid £448 for a mattress for adjustable bed. Was rock hard, resulting in a bad back after 1 night’s sleep. Requested refund as not fit for purpose. Company refused a refund outright. Provided different mattress. Absolute rubbish quality. Mattress cover made of loose-weave cotton, too big to fit mattress. Consequently, mattress cover ever moving, bringing mattress protector and sheet off the bed. Put old, better made, mattress cover on and used safety pins to remove tighten the slack while waiting for a new mattress from a different company. Very expensive mistake. Steer clear
