This is outstanding meat. Having several packages of Heartstone Farm Ground Beef in the freezer is like “quick-but-still-really-good-quality, healthy dinner insurance” when I need to figure out dinner pronto! Just a little salt and pepper sprinkled on makes top notch burgers (and happy humans at the dinner table!) Hubs is also a fan of old-school Sloppy Joes, so that’s another “what to make when I really don’t feel that adventurous in the kitchen” option. But when I make Sloppy Joes with Farmer Dan’s beef, they are just far better. (I don’t use pre-made sauce and back off on the sweetness.) This is my second box from Heartstone Farm and I’ve loved everything I’ve received. My favorites are the Strip Steaks and Ribeyes! By far the best steaks I’ve made. The quality and price is better than the same kind of cuts and quality at any local store.

Love stocking up my freezer with meats from HeartStone Farm. They make it really simple to order most (if not all) of the meat my household needs. It’s incredibly affordable and great quality meats from local farms.

I can never go back to super market meat. The quality of meat 🥩 and knowing you are supporting a local farmer makes the little extra worth it. Our favorite is fajita steak. Makes 6 meals for a family of 2.

I have been ordering from Heartstone for 2 years now. not once have I been disappointed with the selection they offer, the quality of their meat, their prompt delivery, or their flexibility with deliveries. I order all of my meat from them and will continue to order. The sausage was a new purchase and it was beyond what I expected.

Comes packaged frozen solid ( I'm always worried). And beautiful when I open it! The bacon blows store bought away. Same with the chicken. Will find out about the steaks soon. They are beautiful!

We had the lobster tails as well as the chicken great combo highly recommend at least giving this place try. I have tried two others this is the best one because I can change what comes in my next order and not be stuck with the same meats over and over again

My daughter in Maine bought us a gift box from Farmer Dan for Christmas. Most of the beef was shredded or ground, along with some hot dogs and boneless chicken. We had the shredded meat and steaks tonight. The taste was good but we found too many parts of each cut inedible (essentially grissel, which was impossible to break down with our human teeth). I would not recommend to her buying this package again. I know she had the best of intentions and she always supports local businesses in Maine.
