I hear you! The biggest frustration with name change is having to go in person for your driver's licence and banks. I wish we could fully automate these but customers need to sign in person. Still happy we could help you with many others and the list of knowing which companies to include.

Not happy at all. I literally got charged $30 or something for nothing other than a how to. I already knew I had to go onto all of these websites and change my name. Seems insane that all I got was, "you must go into the transport department" "you must call this number" like all that is obvious. Very disappointed to be honest :-(.

Helpful and some of the emails were good, however didn't point out an order for example you need your drivers licence updated or passport updated first as photo ID to get documents signed by a JP and prove in person at banks your new name, AHPRA need ID in your new name AND your certified copy of a marriage certificate and nurses union won't update until AHPRA does. Health Insurance won't update until Medicare does etc.

Hi A. This information is listed on the first page of the guide that comes with your kit. We break down the 4 key steps and the general order of events. For the very few companies that require a certain order (eg: Passport requires updated driver licence), then it's listed in the company checklist. AHPRA do not need photo ID to be updated. Health insurance don't need Medicare to be updated because they work off your Medicare number, which does not change as a result of a change of name. I'm a JP myself and there is no requirement for your photo ID to be in a particular name to have documents certified. Sorry if this was confusing because of the vast amount of information that can come with changing names, but we try to keep it as simple as possible and always encourage customers to read the guide and checklist first. We even have a checkbox where customers must agree to reading the checklist before sending off our notifications, simply so key information is not missed.
