I bought the apex hoping for a 1:1 pc controls on Playstation experience, and that was not exactly what I got. The issue is the turn limitation, you can't turn your mouse like you would on a pc, you have to use slow movements otherwise the game registers the controller sticks as having been maxed out, meaning your screen doesn't move at all. This creates a seriously counter-intuitive experience where if you see a player and need to rapidly turn, you have to teach yourself to become a buddhist monk and slowly turn your mouse, otherwise you won't move an inch and you will be cannonfodder. Frankly I was better off just using the controller, my k/d suffered immensely from using the apex. However I have to give credit where credit is due and say that it works amazingly smooth otherwise, I get why they call it a 1:1 experience, because it literally is - it's just the console that has a turn limitation. I really wish someone found a perfectly smooth workaround for the hardware limitation, because I don't want to start unlearning decades of gaming experience to program this new form of mouse aiming into my muscle memory. I still use PC, I can't hop between "versions" of mouse aiming like that.
