"I am always thankful to live in a small town. When I received the call from medical care alert this morning (I was actually at home with a vacation day from work) The person on the phone was very professional and direct. I went to meet the 1st responders at my father in laws, Thomas Chisholm, the police were already there and the responders were going in the driveway as I got there. I knew them all but there wasn't time to talk until we saw Tommy was ok. They were very professional too. We found Tommy had just hit the button by mistake and could not hear anyone trying to talk to him..he is very hard of hearing. He felt so bad but we were so happy to see he was ok. I did find a problem that you can handle, The recorded alert needs to be checked and if possible to race the vol am to be much louder so it can alert every one in the house. also the voice of the operator also needs to be much lower. in an alert is no time to be shy.Can you think what it would be like to wake up with a bunch of firemen running around the house please understand that I have a sever hearing problem . When I called I could just make out the lady's voice (she did a fine job of helping me ) . I hope you can fix this problem with out much trouble. Thank you."

Anyone with older parents or relatives should look into getting them a medical alert system. They aren't expensive, and are way better than going to a nursing home or lying on the floor waiting for someone to give them some help

They were super quick to respond to my inquiries and gave personal attention to my particular situation in helping me to choose between their service options. The cost is comparable or better than other providers, but I feel I received more personal attention. I was purchasing the service for my mom, who is not as technically savvy, so knowing she could speak to someone by telephone and get her needs met was a BIG selling point for me. Also, the terms of the contract were perfect for our needs. Many providers do not provide a good description of how one can end their service agreement or transfer it to a different residence - something that is vital to know when one is a senior. In other words, other contracts were easy to get into, but difficult or impossible to exit. Not so with Medical Care Alert. These details are well spelled out and fair. But again, to me the biggest asset of this company is the personal customer service. Even when my mom conducts her monthly check of the service and equipment, the people answering the call are professional, friendly, patient and thorough. 5 Stars for sure!"
"I found everything that they told me and everything I read to be right on. I ordered the home and yard one and found it works quite a ways down the road from my house. The lockbox that came with it had a flaw and it couldnt be opened, I called and they had a new one to me within 2 days, and it worked great and is on my door. I use the bracelet more than the lanyard but it is nice to have both and the peace of mind it gives now is wonderful."

"The communication is not as clear as I hoped which MAY be related to the telephone line. The wristlet that came with it was missing one end and therefore needed to be taped shut. I will say a replacement came ASAP. The device seems to come out of the wristlet a little too easily. It also seems the second phone contact has never been called. On several occasions only the first and third contact have been used."

"I had asked the sales person to send the system to me. It was a gift to my mom and step father. Instead they tried to send it to my mother and only part of the system was in the package so your company had to send a second unit which took time to get arranged. Although your sales people were helpfull things didn't go well from the beginning, but I guess all is well that endd well. My mother and step father are pleased to be wearing the alert system. It does make them feel alot safer."
