This filter from Redstag Supplies has been in service since 12/24/19 and it is Still working. So I am hopeful that I have found a genuine GE MWF filter. So, with these filters I'm always a bit skeptical of knockoffs that don't filter out as many chemicals as the legitimate product by GE. Especially when they are going for half the price. This filter does look slightly different than my last GE filter so I'm not 100% sure it's a legitimate GE MWF filter. But my guess is the labeling changed and it is a genuine GE MWF filter.

When my "water filter replacement warning light" came on in my GE refrigerator door water dispenser, the website listed in my GE refrigerator handbook showed a price I felt to be too high for a replacement water filter.
