I had a good experience refinancing my car with openroad to reduce my interest rate. I was able to return the requested documents quickly and they acknowledged each document as it was received. I received a pre-approved letter and thought great! I hadn't thought about refi-ing but they letter came a good time for me to do so. Especially since the letter said I'd save $100/month. I must say I was a little skeptical about OpenRoad when I first started researching them online. I wasn't sure if it was "for real" or not, but that was based on older reviews from folks, who I guess, had a bad experience. Then I also saw their satisfaction % and BBB rating and was eased about it. Mine refi was good! It was a pretty painless process. I will say you're probably better off trying to fax/scan them your docs, than sending pics by text message. It didn't work, for me anyway. lol Besides that, it was good. Most pleasant auto refinance experience I have ever had. If you have a PC or laptop and a printer/scanner (with usb ports) this will be a pleasant cake walk for you. Scan documents, save to file then upload to Open Roads. One DMV document (if needed) will need to be signed, scanned and uploaded and then the original sent to Open Roads; but they provide a printable postage label with two day tracking delivery. That was nice of Open Roads. The representative was awesome; kind and professional. She or he will walk you thru the process with ease and you can do it all in the comfort of home.

Had a great experience, knocked my payment down by 30 dollars and reduced my interest to half of what it was. Not to mention took it from a 72 month loan to a 60, I highly recommend open road lending for consumers that are trying to rebuild their credit.

I have had less than perfect credit for several years. When I bought my last vehicle I was in a very high interest loan and did not think I could do better. I received a flyer from open road and decided to apply. They exceeded my expectations and gave me a lower interest rate than I have seen in 10 years on a car loan. My loan officer was incredibly helpful with the process and answered all of my phone calls and questions quickly. There was no part of this experience I can complain about and I highly suggest trying open road if you have been on a good credit path for at least a year. They can help.

I purchased a lemon car from CarMax and at the time my credit was terrible and so I was stuck with a high rate of 24%!!!! The large car payments on top of all the repairs was killing me. All my money has gone to this car. After making my payments on time for 2 years or more I finally tried to refinance it. I tried going to local credit unions, my bank, and other lenders online but no one would help me. Finally I saw an ad on Facebook and inquired OpenRoad. While open road lending did get me a better interest rate and little bit of a smaller payment each month. It was a painstaking process. Whitney my loan advisor was not educated with the process. It took over a month to complete. And I had to send and resend documents over and over again due to her lack of knowledge of what is needed and how it was needed. Some I could send a picture. Then she would tell me she didn't get it. Then she did, then it was a need that faxed. Then mailed. Then every time you send something you get a generic email back saying welcome tonipentoad lending. I got that email almost a dozen times. It made this experience feel very non-personal. Documents would say fax in the top corner. Then I would get an email saying you need to mail them. Or take a picture. It took so long, I had to get my payoff twice because the 10 days were over the first time. Very disorganized process and company in my opinion. Thanks Scott

I took a big financial hit with my last car due to the lack of Gap coverage. Five years ago Gap coverage was not so well known. So my next car, a car I really wanted that was within my means, was a must, But I end up with very little at the time to put down and ended up with a high monthly payment. A few years go by and I am make all the payments, all is good. I get a letter in the mail from Open Road Lending, and I must get 8 to 10 loan come-ons a month. So the Open Road Lending is just one of many that I just feed to the shredding machine. Well I read through it and figure yea right this is just "Too Good To Be True" . I make a call and speak to a fella named Robert, and OK this still sounds "Too Good To Be True". The next day I get an email from Cal-Lea of Open Road introducing herself and Open Road. I had my reservations, I searched Google, Spoke with other car guys that are in the business. And heard nothing but good things. Yea I added some 6 months to the life of the loan but save $175.00 a Month. I feel that is a big deal. What's the catch maybe Open Road will not give me the tittle when I pay the car off. OMG!!! All kidding aside, what a pleasant experience. The first attempt was a huge disappointment. I am not sure what happened or why? Maybe I tried to refinance too soon? I was told they already approved me, then they called and emailed non stop, then it added more than one credit inquiry to me credit report. About 5 months later, I began to receive the offers again. When they called, I stated how I had a bad experience before and to please quit calling. The lady I spoke with was very nice and helpful and assured me they wanted to and they would find a lender. With nothing to lose, and hopefully a lower car payment to gain - I tried one more time. It was easy and efficient and my car payment was lowered by $158 a month.
