I needed a bracket to mount my 6' flagpole and 3' x 5' flag into a brick face on the corner of a building, three stories up. I purchased this cast aluminum bracket to use in place of the HDPE bracket that was included with my flagpole. It included a thumbscrew to apply lateral pressure to the installed flagpole, as well as mounting screws with plastic wall anchors (like you might use for hanging pictures in drywall). These did not provide enough of a hold, so I mounted the bracket with Tapcon concrete/brick screws. High winds tore the flagpole out of the brick again, so I drilled out the mounting holes in the aluminum bracket and used 5/16" x 2 1/2" sleeve anchors and mounted the bracket once more. This did the trick and the bracket and pole have remained rock solid through some relatively high winds and bad weather. The bracket itself is perfect for what I was looking for, but if you are planning to mount your flag somewhere where it will be subject to more than a light breeze, I would recommend a stronger type of anchor.

Love the product, but was unaware that it does not have a cable to bring the flag down to half-mast. We have to remove the pole from the base to lower the flag, which is not going to happen.

Ordered 2. After about 2 weeks the top ring was getting stuck and not spinning smoothly. I also replaced the set screws since the ones provided are way too long. The other mount spins freely as it should.

I ordered the Koralex II flag two years ago. I can't tell you how pleasantly surprised I was when I opened the box. So many flags are thin and cheap looking. This flag looks like heavy cotton but it wears like iron. It honestly doesn't show any wear after two years in the sun. Great products!

I will be recommending this site and these products to anyone looking for flag products. I was worried that the "dark gray ABS" ball top would be an eyesore, but it is painted a gunmetal chrome, and looks very nice without adding unnecessary weight to the end of the flagpole. I was very impressed with the prompt delivery. The flag pole and flag appear be high quality. We've had ours installed since a few days before Memorial Day 2016. It's beautiful! I would highly recommend purchasing a flag pole from Grand New Flag. We have some pretty strong winds at our house. The Defender Flag Pole is holding up nicely. The aluminum flag pole holder and flag spinners were exactly what I needed. The quality of the holder is great unlike the cheap plastic ones and everything was on my doorstep in a few days. You can't beat that!

I bought this because it's made in the USA. I expected better. This is cheap plastic that doesn't seem like it will break in wind. I could have bought the same quality made in China item at the same price from another online vendor and gotten free shipping. I paid twice that price because I had to pay shipping here. Wasn't worth the return postage to send back for a refund so I just threw it in the trash.

I have had the flag for ~6 months. I have left the flag out in high winds, rain and shine and it seems to be holding up well. Would buy again.

4-9-16. Just finished installing the flag pole after letting the concrete set for 24 hours. It is a windy cold day here in Michigan but the pole is holding up well in the wind & looks great. I really love the way each section locks in place with a twist, which is so much better than the old pole that had spring loaded pins that didn't last long & eventually broke. Being made in the USA instead of China is a plus & the workmanship is far superior to the cheaper Chinese brands. (you get what you pay for)

Metal thumb screw adds to the durability of this US made product

The shiny black flagpole looks great with my Red White & Blue. Shipment was quick. Only adjustment I made was that I replaced the two thumb screws with two set screws. Made for a cleaner, recessed look and now there's no way the flag will ever snag on them. Nice product for the money. Thanks.

good quality product. Friendly service. The only issue is the wing nut/bolts. The bolt that holds the pole into the mount is too big and doesn't fit. The flag connections get caught on on the bolts that secure the swivel mounts. Easy fix with a trip to the hardware store for shorter bolts.

We love that our beautiful blade flags will look their best because they can weather the wind without fighting it. I would like to see the flag I purchased from this site to be reduced in price. Although it last well outdoors and is rather large, the price is twenty percent more than similar flags I purchased in the past of the same quality.
