Philip Kauppinen and his company exemplify that quality. When I sent in a previous review griping and complaining, I heard from the owner (Mr. Kauppinen) himself directly, I was impressed. When he called me directly and left his direct line number, I was blown away. He replaced the bracket without a second thought. I only wish more companies and politicians too understood the importance of taking care of those who buy their products or vote for them. I am a Grand New Flag customer for life.

A few weeks back I ordered the Freedom 6' Flag pole with never furl kit from your company. I got around to installing it after a short while and it works just great! On May 15, Connecticut was struck by rare tornadoes and my neighborhood and surrounding streets suffered great damage. We could not get in or out of the neighborhood for 4 days. However I did want to tell you how well the never furl kit performed. Despite the over 110 mph winds, and even given the fact that's the pole bent in place, the flag never furled. I took off the broken piece with a hacksaw and replaced the flag. Now I've got to get to the 25 trees that are down!! Thank you for your excellent product.

Ok, Great product, but one hitch. When flying two flags together, the tension on the lower flag does not permit the lowest ring to rotate freely around the pole. Thus wrapping the lower flag around the pole, which necessitates having to take down the pole and unraveling the flag. trying to figure out a solution.

I ordered this display caase for my FATHER'S

4 x 6 Nylon Flag placed on a 25' pole at a condo complex in Southeast Michigan. The weather is harsh with strong winds, cold, snow, sleet, etc, and a lot of traffic passing. Even though it is nylon, the flag billows and flows like a cotton flag in the summer. Good value

I ordered 2 flag pole kits for my husbands birthday, one for our house and one for our cottage. I was thrilled to find kits made in America! I chose the nice cloth flag, so we could enjoy it for years to come. I will say the black pole, spinner clips, and flag are nice so far (hence the 3 stars), but one rainy day we came home to find our flag on the ground- the bracket had snapped in half due to the weight of the wet flag. Thankfully it hadn't pulled out of the aluminum trim of the post, it simply snapped in two. It wasn't a windy day, just rainy. When I emailed, Phillip told me it's not warranted and my only option was to purchase a metal bracket (he did offer a discount). I was really disappointed. I didn't see any point in ordering something else questionable & unwarranted from the company, so we ended up going to our local hardware store to purchase a metal bracket.

Website is easy to navigate

My flag base is mounted under my garage overhang which has a negative slope. The negative slope moved my flag pole more to the horizontal which causes furling during higher winds. As discussed, I moved the top retainer ring to provide more slack and the flag fly's as it should. The quality of the pole and mount a far beyond what I expected and should stand the test of time. I'll add that the quality of the flag material and the stitching are far superior to anything I have been able to purchase in the past. Thanks for a great product and helpfil assistance. Ron

Probably one of the easiest online shopping experiences I've had!

I am basing my review on past product purchases of like items. The pole is light weight and I am not sure it will handle the Texas winds. The top is cheap and with what I paid I expected better quality. It will not hold up. The Never Furl hardware appears at this juncture to be the best part of my purchase. Time will tell. The Post Office does not do a good job handling products as my box was torn open on one end. Overall I am disappointed and expected better from an American made product.

Love the fact that it's made in America and also that 5% of the profits go to Veteran's causes. The pole is sturdy and I was able to mount it in our existing metal bracket. The one that was supplied was plastic and I don't know if I trust it with our high winds. The pole's spinning feature needed a little help from WD40, but after it was lubed up, it worked fine.

I've had this flag kit flying proud and illuminated at night for over a year now with no issues. We live in middle Tennessee and the summer storms are sometimes fierce with very high winds. Great purchase for the money. Husband just loves it. It's only been up for 2 days so time will tell but according to others reviews and company testing it should wear well.

I haven't started flying the flag yet because I am going to be buying the light and pole this spring. I know that shipping was quick and I received it within the week. As a vet, I am proud to own an American flag made in the USA! Seeing that I have cancer time is important to me.

I posted a review last July, but do not have the option on this site to edit my original review, so I'll post my follow-up here. I first purchased this setup at the end of June 2016, and so have been using this flagpole for over a year now. I was originally having trouble with the flag wrapping around the pole several times a week, but after replacing the thumbscrews with standard dome-topped Phillips-head screws, I never had this issue again. This also solved the issue of the original thumbscrews rusting slightly after several months of use. After replacing the screws, I noticed once or twice that the clips had been pulled out of shape, but it was a simple matter to bend the clips back to their original shape. Unfortunately, a few months after I resolved the issue of the flag getting tangled, I came home to see my flag hanging by just one of its swivel clips. The flat metal clip on the top swivel had chewed right through the plastic of the swivel, and the bottom clip was halfway through its swivel as well. The flat edge of the clips aren't sharp, really, but when the wind blows them back and forth, it will gradually wear down the plastic and eventually grind through it. This probably happened more quickly than usual due to the fact that I am three stories up and get a little more wind than if I were on the ground floor, but I live in the relatively calm piedmont of North Carolina...not a beach town or other place known for high winds. I called and there is unfortunately no warranty on the swivel clips, likely due to the fact that they are an inexpensive plastic item which most people would just replace as needed. I would suggest one of two options. You could replace the flat metal clips with small metal carabiners, which would have a rounded (rather than flat) edge, and would not be able to be bent out of shape. Alternatively, you could just buy a different set of swivel clips; there are ones available that are made out of aluminum that use miniature carabiners, and should last a lifetime. Unfortunately, I have yet to find American-made products for either of these two options. Nevertheless, the foreign-construction aluminum swivels seem to be the best product currently available, and I will be using them until an American company decides to produce a similar product.

It took me a while to find a complete flag and flagpole set made in the USA - i am happy with the quality and the price!
